A Fish Oil Vitamin Could Save Your Life!

My dad's doctor told him a fish oil vitamin was good "for ails him" and Harvard Medical School, the American Heart Association and countless others agree.
Studies show fish oil benefits your cardiovascular system, your brain, your eyesight, and even your skin and hair. Plus, they're a natural anti-inflammatory so they can protect you from rheumatoid arthritis and other diseases too.
All around, fish oil vitamins are touted as the next miracle. But why?
Are You Deficient?
It comes down to this. Fish oil is rich is Omega 3 fatty acids which we need to have a healthy and high functioning body.
Unfortunately, modern Western diets are sadly lacking in these necessary nutrients and nutritionists agree we're completely deficient. The only thing they disagree on is how deficient.
Our ancestors got these nutrients from their whole food diets. Fish, grass fed beef, and plenty of vegetables were all part the dining table of the past. Nowadays, our dining table might behind the wheel of the car or our desk at work. We're hurried. We eat in a hurry and we eat a lot of processed foods. Today we get plenty of Omega 6 fatty acids--also necessary--but very few Omega 3's.
These Omega 3's are what scientists call long chain poly saturated fats. They affect virtually every avenue of your body and mind. They reduce inflammation throughout the body which doctors agree prevents disease.
A 2008 study from Baylor University and Harvard Medical School agreed that fish oil vitamins with Omega 3's reduced inflammation which in turn boosted your immune system.
These healthy fatty acids reduce plaque in your arteries so your blood flows smoother and there's less risk of a heart attack.
They even reduce plaque in your brain--bet you didn't know you could have it there too. Your brain functions better and your memory is improved when your neural pathways are clear.
Many doctors have taken to recommending a fish oil vitamin to counteract all the effects of our environments and to make sure you get these necessary nutrients.
You could eat more fish, walnuts, and green leafy vegetables but if you're like most of us, a vitamin is an easy solution to get the nutrients you need.
You do want to make sure though that you're getting a vitamin with the Omega 3's that you need. Some fish oil vitamins have higher amounts than others.
You also want to make sure you're not getting toxins in your vitamins. High levels of mercury and PCB's have been found in some brands. You want to look for pure, distilled fish oil.
