Weight Loss by Removing Sugar From Your Diet

I have started a weight loss program and one of the things that the company recommends is for those that are looking to lose the maximum amount of weight during the first 30 days of the program that they abstain from consuming sugar and sugar substitutes. It is very interesting to think that you can achieve weight loss by removing sugar from your diet and yet here I am after one week of having nothing with sugar, including fruit, and I have lost roughly one pound per day. Am I suggesting that your results will be the same as my results if you remove sugar from your diet? I couldn't possibly have the answer to that because I am not a doctor.
With that being said, let me tell you what I am so that you can understand why I am taking the time to share my experiences with you. I am a person that was diagnosed in 2012 as being pre-diabetic. What this means is that I was already beginning to lose my ability to process sugar. It was a frightening revelation because I had witnessed those I loved in the past becomes ravaged by this condition and I was dangerously close to walking in their shoes.
When I learned this information I went through the normal stages of grief but once those passed I resolved to make changes in my life. I started making small changes and went back again 6 months later to be retested. The results were the same. My efforts had failed. Later, I was determined to find the solution to my problem and the only answer coming to me from my primary physician was "lose weight". If you have weight issues you know that this comment is frustrating. It is frustrating because it doesn't give you any answers, not really.
I went out in search of answers from numerous health professionals and I discovered a common theme... sugar. Sugar is in a lot of food items, more than I had thought originally and I was not naive to how much sugar I was consuming. It turned out I was mistaken about a few of the changes I had made. With this new weight loss program I am eating 5 meals a day and I am eating good tasting food. The only difference is I have significantly reduced the amount of sugar I am taking in each day. I found it interesting to see the pounds starting to melt away so effortlessly once I modified my diet to exclude sugars and sugar substitutes. I have learned now from my own personal experience that you can lose weight by removing sugar from your diet.

Think Fat Loss - Not Weight Loss

If you're considering going on a weight loss program, it can be confusing and even a little scary. Questions come to mind and you aren't sure of the answers. Which programs or products really work? Are they safe? Do they really get the results that they claim? Shall I use supplements or diets or exercise? What's the best program for me? Well, I'm going to give you some guidance in this area. I'll be discussing why you should be focusing on fat loss not weight loss. When you focus on fat loss, instead of weight loss, you're headed in the right direction toward a sensible and effective fat loss program. Let me explain.
The weight loss industry is a $55 billion a year business. The marketing of diets, diet foods, supplements, weight loss products, and exercise systems to help people lose weight is a very competitive business. As such, many misleading and false claims are offered by some companies to gain the sales advantage in this lucrative market.
For instance, many weight management or diet programs entice you to use their program with claims such as "you will lose 30 pounds in 30 days". The most ridiculous claim I've seen was made by a diet supplement company who claimed that their product could "blast up to 49 pounds off user in only 29 days, obliterate 5 inches from waistlines, and zap 3 inches from thighs, without dieting or exercising". Needless to say, the FTC slapped a restraining order against this company for their obviously false claims.
There are many weight loss or diet programs that claim that you can lose a lot of weight in a short period of time. Some of these claims are false. Also, some of them are true, but the fast weight loss is unsafe and unhealthy for you. If you're in the "market place" looking for solutions to reducing your weight, then you need to be educated about which approach is the most effective, healthiest and safest for you.
The ultimate goal in losing weight is to lose body fat exclusively. Many weight loss programs will help you to lose weight fast. However, many of the fast weight loss programs cause you to lose muscle along with the fat. Any fast weight loss program that claims you can "lose 30 pounds in 30 days" will most likely cause you to lose muscle along with the fat loss. This is self-defeating since muscle uses energy to function and the additional muscle loss will cause your metabolism to drop which reduces your fat burning capacity. This why you must participate in a program that focuses on fat loss instead of weight loss.
Losing body fat is all about creating an energy deficit. To lose body fat, you must expend more energy than you ingest (in food and drink). This situation creates an energy deficit that must be made up from stored carbohydrates, stored fat or muscle tissue. The trick is to create an energy deficit in a manner that spares the muscle and uses primarily fat to make up the deficit. "Crash" or starvation diets cause an excessive energy deficit which results in consuming fat and muscle to satisfy the deficit.
An effective fat loss program should be specifically designed to remove body fat in a sensible and safe manner with the main focus on losing body fat and losing inches, not just pounds. To accomplish this, the fat loss program must be designed with three key components:
Resistance Training - to create an energy deficit while sparing the muscle from being used to satisfy the energy deficit and also building muscle to increase the metabolism.
Cardio Training - to create an energy deficit while improving endurance, energy and cardiovascular health.
Sensible Diet - to create a moderate caloric intake deficit through proper food selection and portion control.
An effective fat loss program should be designed to induce a bodyweight loss of about 1-2 pounds per week (or 1% of your bodyweight per week). Weight management experts, weight loss doctors, and obesity experts recommend these guidelines for any sensible, safe and effective weight/fat loss program. Higher weight losses per week can result in muscle loss.
I hope this "sheds some light" on the confusing and complex subject of weight loss. If you want more information, check out my website for more detailed information on the features and benefits of an effective and safe fat loss program.

What you eat, and how much of each food group; will make up a major part of your fitness plan.
It's never too late to start on a regular general fitness program, and once you have reached a certain level of fitness, it remains your choice as to whether you want to go ahead and increase your fitness level or just maintain it. How to Find the Best Rated Weight Loss Program - 7 Criteria

What are the criteria you need to know to find the best rated weight loss program? Do you know that there are millions of weight loss programs on the market and each promises miracle results? Unfortunately, 64 percent of the US population and 750 million people worldwide are still overweight. The numbers are increasing every day at an extremely high rate.
Do the programs live up to their promises? Some do. Others are just scams. After 10 months of research, I've come up with 7 criteria to find the best rated weight loss programs.
#1 - The main focus is on the diet side, not the exercise. If you hire a personal weight loss expert, the first thing he or she will do is go to your kitchen and check your fridge. These experts know that it is pointless putting tons of effort into exercising if you still eating the wrong food. Thus, your diet is the main concern.
#2 - The best rated weight loss program has cheap one-off membership payment. If the program requires high and ongoing membership fees, they're likely scams. It simply says that their turnover is low and thus need bigger markups to cover overheads.
#3 - Regular updates are included in the programs. Almost everyday there will be a new breakthrough. You would not want to pay extra for that. The best rated weight loss programs always incorporate this cost in the initial fee.
#4 - The program has a personal diet creation tool. Everyone is different in terms of size, energy consumption, metabolic rate, lifestyle and much more. Thus, you really need a unique diet specially tailored for you.
#5 - Ensure that there are good and proven testimonials. You would not want to be among the first to try the program.
#6 - Why is the money back guarantee important? If they offer money back guarantee, this means they're extremely confident that their programs really work. If they don't work, they will be out of business.
#7 - The program has low refund rate. Although you can get back your money, but trying a program with high refund rate is just waste of time and effort.
I've ranked Strip That Fat as the best rated weight loss program. It does meet all the criteria above. The best thing is they offer an iron-clad 60-day money back guarantee. If you don't lose your extra pounds within 2 months, you can refund your money and no questions will be asked. Amazingly, the refund rate is extremely low. This proves that Strip That Fat really works.
If you're still looking for ways to lose weight fast, Strip That Fat might be the solution for you. Visit my Strip That Fat Full Review [http://www.squidoo.com/stripthatfat-mydietsolution] for more info. If you don't lose that 10 pounds FAST... I'd be really surprised.

Fast Weight Loss - Are Diet Pills Really a Good Idea?

I was in my local supermarket only yesterday, waiting for my wife, and generally killing time browsing, when I noticed a show stand near the health and medical section. It caught my eye because I had seen the same product displayed prominently in a well known chain of high street pharmacies.
Since then, I find an ad in a fitness magazine suggesting the possibility of a 'new life' for anybody taking this weight loss capsule. Well certainly from the publicity I have seen about this kind of addition to a daily diet, a new life is 100% guaranteed, but it may not be the new life that you had anticipated.
To be fair to the advertisement and the manufacturers, they do emphasize that if you use this product in conjunction with changes to your eating habits, commitment to a reduced calorie, lower fat diet, and adoption of a more active and healthy lifestyle, you will see amazing results.
Well here's the truth! If you do all of those WITHOUT taking the capsule, that is a good NATURAL weight loss program. You don't need the capsule!
What does it do? Well, if I quote from the manufacturer's own text: "It works only in your digestive system to prevent some of the fat you eat being absorbed by your body and turned into extra pounds, helping you lose more weight than you would if you were just dieting". Well that maybe true, but let me ask you this...
...what happens to the fat that this capsule stops the body from absorbing? Correct, it passes through your system and is discharged along with other waste products. This is an extreme form of dieting and it is not sustainable long term and should not be encouraged.
Your body is engineered to manage a balanced diet of all food groups, and your digestive system is able to cope more than adequately with a 'normal' food intake and expulsion. The body does not like accumulated non-absorbed fat of the kind produced by capsules like this. It will be expelled when and where the body is ready, and you will have little or no control. This could lead to extreme discomfort and embarrassment...and you giving up your diet in no time at all.
Yes, by all means take the advice of the manufacturers:
• Make changes to your eating habits
• Eat reduced calorie and low fat foods
• Adopt a healthier and more active lifestyle
• Keep a food diary
• Join a forum of like-minded people
• Ask nutrition and weight loss experts
BUT YOU DO NOT NEED TO take capsules that make the body work in a non-natural way. What you need is a long-term natural solution to fat loss...and capsules are not it!

Searching For An Expert To Review Fat Loss Factor In A Balanced Fashion

By Sheonty Sultan

There are numerous ways to shed off those unwanted pounds. Before you attempt to try a particular approach, it's a good idea to read about it first. You need to look for an expert to review Fat Loss Factor in an unbiased manner.

What many are looking for in a solution is something that is easy to follow and doesn't take a long time to complete. Luckily, this approach lasts for only 12 weeks, and this is shorter compared to some of the rest. However, it may not be the easiest one around. This is especially true as the initial phase consists of performing a detoxification process.

Such part of the program is essential due to a variety of reasons. It helps in flushing accumulated toxins caused by years of eating unhealthily. This also allows the person to effectively get rid of food that he or she is addicted to, particularly those that are not good for the body. The immune system benefits from detoxification too, and the individual's energy is boosted.

The whole detoxification phase lasts for a couple of weeks. You have to consume only organically grown fruits and vegetables, and raw nuts and legumes. Spring water or something which has been through reverse osmosis is the only type of water permissible. For 3 days, the dieter has to do the Lemonade Diet too, the recipe for which is included in the system.

More food items will be introduced into the diet after the detoxification stage. They include healthy fats, low glycemic index (GI) carbohydrates, and lean protein sources. All of these things may be consumed throughout the remaining 10 weeks.

Exercising is also an important component of this approach. At first, you have to take 30-60 minute walks regularly. More challenging routines will have to be done as the weeks pass, helping to accelerate the metabolism. This is true especially after the initial 2 weeks. Exercise log included with your purchase helps make sticking to a regular regimen easier.

What's so great about the system is it highlights the importance of healthy eating and regular exercising. Both of these things are necessary to effectively shed off unwanted weight. Results may be hard to see if you take away one of them. The system is ideal for individuals who wish to stay in great shape on a long-term basis, in a healthy fashion.

An expert needs to review Fat Loss Factor in an impartial approach, also considering the cons. You may have to spend more money as organic food items generally are more expensive. Time is also needed in preparing the meals recommended. Many may have trouble with the detoxification part, most especially the Lemonade Diet which lasts for 3 consecutive days.

The Best Miracle Weight Loss Program Is Diet And Exercise

Diet, and dieting aids, is a multibillion dollar industry in the United States. This should come as no surprise because many, many studies from both government and private researchers have documented the rapidly rising rates of obesity in almost all segments of the population.

These two facts seem to be at odds with each other. On one hand, we seem to be obsessed with how much we weigh and are willing to spend vast amounts of money on almost any product or service that claims to help us lose our unwanted pounds. Yet, on the other hand, there are a great many credible reports that, nationally, we continue to grow fatter.

I think the disconnect between the two is that even though we desperately want to weigh less than we do, we are unable, or unwilling, to make the lifestyle choices necessary to not gain weight in the first place. As a culture, we seem to want to live a life of culinary abandon and eat everything we wish and then be able to purchase a thin body without fuss or muss.

As circumstantial evidence, I point to a recent article in the New York Times. The article itself is an examination of the continuing popularity of the faddish HCG diet despite any real evidence that it actually works. The author reports on one woman who injects herself daily with HCG as part of a 500 calorie a day diet.

Briefly, this is crazy in the extreme. Any reputable dietician will tell you that a middle aged female requires somewhere around 1,400 calories daily to maintain current weight and will begin to lose weight when calories are restricted to about 1,100 daily. For the woman outlined in the NY Times article, she doesn't need HCG at all, at 500 calories a day, she's starving herself already.

The answer to losing weight is not spending hundreds or thousands of dollars on questionable "miracle" programs. The answer is to choose to stick with a reasonable and healthy diet and not ignore the nutritional needs your body has.

Put another way, our species has developed over tens of thousands of years and has survived more than a few challenges along the way. Our latest challenge, at least in the west, is that we do not get enough exercise and don't eat at all correctly. That is, what we need for the body to function well.

Typically, we ingest way too much red meat, too many carbohydrates, and too much sugar. We don't eat nearly enough fruits, vegetables, whole grains, or fish. Instead of preparing our own meals, we too often head off to the closest fast food vendor. Instead of exercising, we sit on our couches and watch others play games.
And then wonder why we gain weight!

In the end, you don't need any "miracle" cure, you need to exercise more and eat less. Not only will you be healthier, you will also save money.
